Santa Monica Psychedelic Summit July 19th, 2025

After a long hiatus, we jumped right back into the event scene at the Santa Monica Psychedelic Summit, presented by MyceliumMatters and hosted at the beautiful MUD\WTR Headquarters. The space was buzzing from the moment we walked in, and it felt incredible to see so many familiar faces after being away. Twisted Tree set up our booth alongside a cozy lounge area, and my dear artist friend Alexa brought her stunning original artwork even creating some whimsical mushroom-inspired pieces just for the event.

The day was stacked with incredible programming. The main stage featured everything from the history of psychedelics in music to deep dives into microdosing, veterans’ mental health, and women’s leadership in the psychedelic space. The “Women in Psychedelics” panel, moderated by Aixarret Hernandez, was a highlight — featuring voices like Stephanie Karzon Abrams, Mary Carreón, Danielle Adams, and Linden Schaffer sharing their visions for reshaping the field through healing, harm reduction, research, and policy.

Workshops ran throughout the day as well, with sessions on mushroom cultivation by Ahycsa Bautista of Magic Amor Mycology, cactus growing by Bobby aka Agar Boi, and networking meet-ups for cultivators, VIPs, and veterans. Vendors like Poppa Cap, Culture Shrooms, Neon Hippie, Myco Center, Melting Forest, Hearthstone, and more brought an eclectic marketplace of mushroom products, functional blends, art, and community energy.

One of my personal highlights was supplying the MUD\WTR team with grow kits a surreal and proud moment seeing our products in such a well-known, innovative space. Between the engaging panels, vibrant vendor floor, and the incredible company of friends and collaborators, it was the perfect way to re-enter the circuit and remind ourselves why we love doing this.
