Rocky Mountain Mushcon – February 3rd, 2024

We loaded up the car and hit the road for Pueblo, Colorado, driving straight into a massive snowstorm. Our destination was Rocky Mountain Mushcon, an event hosted by Shroomski Magazine for Veterans, held at the historic Union Depot right in town. The storm definitely thinned out the crowd, making it smaller than Anthony and his team had originally planned, but the weather didn’t stop it from being a great experience.

The historic venue added a unique charm to the event, and the more intimate crowd gave us time to connect with people on a deeper level. We met some incredible glass artists, linked up with the Mad Hatter Genetics crew, and reconnected with PooGod Colorado. After the event, we hung out with them and got a behind-the-scenes look at their home and legendary “God of Poo” operations — which was just as wild and hilarious as it sounds.

Even with the snow coming down, the weekend was packed with good vibes, new connections, and plenty of laughs. Sometimes the smaller, unexpected turnouts make for the best memories.
