2nd Annual Entheogen Expo February 17 2024

The 2nd Annual Entheogen Expo was one for the books. This year it was in San Diego and the space was massive — half indoors, half outdoors — giving it a totally different energy while still holding onto those same magical vibes as last year.

Right off the bat, we got to meet Dennis Walker, the founder of Mycopreneur. If you don’t know him, he’s the one behind the Mycopreneur Podcast, where he’s interviewed over 200 mushroom entrepreneurs from more than 30 countries. The man has a pulse on this industry like no one else.

We were lucky enough to vend alongside our friends at West Coast Gold Caps, our number one supporting chocolate brand and the only one making products based on actual mushroom strains. The event was buzzing from the moment doors opened — packed with speakers, workshops, art, and vendors everywhere you looked. Mycotrophic, Drew from Inoculate the World, Las Malos Eloteros, Miss Mush, Agar Boi, and so many more were in the mix. Even Jacob from Oklahoma Fungi made a surprise appearance.

This year’s vendor lineup and speaker roster were wild. Names like Crime Pays But Botany Doesn’t, Jeff Glass Art, Alan Rockefeller, Basidium Equilibrium, and an entire list of amazing brands and artists kept people exploring all day. We even had the chance to finally meet Myco Punks, which was such a cool moment for us.

When the sun went down, the after party kicked in right at the same venue with DJs and good vibes flowing until late. It turned into a giant networking session — everyone unwinding from vending while still talking shop and making connections.

San Diego showed up big for this one. Between the community, the energy, and the insane amount of talent in the room, it’s safe to say the 2nd Annual Entheogen Expo cemented itself as one of the cornerstone events of the year for us.
