Mushroom Alley at Reggae on the Mountain November 18–20 2022
This one felt different the second we pulled into the campground. Three full days. A reggae music festival. And tucked inside it all, a row of mushroom vendors sharing space inside the Wellness Village. Mushroom Alley was born and we were right in the heart of it
Culture Shrooms and Myceliumatters hosted the whole setup and it felt like such a gift to be part of something so unexpected and alive. This wasn’t your typical vending event. This was music, community, education, and a lot of dirt on your shoes by the end of the weekend
The lineup for the festival was stacked Ziggy Marley, Steel Pulse, Barrington Levy, Ky-Mani Marley, Groundation, and so many more. But honestly one of the biggest wins for us was having help at our booth for once. It meant we actually got to be there. We walked the grounds, met new people, danced, rested, and still made deep connections with the community
The Mushroom Alley itself was packed with familiar faces and a few new ones. Twisted Tree Nursery was set up alongside Hearthstone Collective, Humboldt Mycology, Good Pharma, ARGOS, OHMS Collective, 920 Maps, Myco Extractions, STEM + CAP, Leading Mushrooms, troop, and Evergreen Fumes. Everyone brought their own flavor and offerings. It was this perfect mix of education, cultivation, wellness, and vibes
The speaker series was titled “The Power of Shrooms” and featured some of the best in the space. David Poplin, William Goss, Ryan Latreille, and Jonathan Garner each brought their own story and knowledge to the table. From cultivation techniques to the deeper meaning behind mushroom work, people were tuned in and truly engaged
What made this event even more special was what happened between the booths. We got to connect with Omar from Culture Shrooms, deepen our friendship with Omar and Chrissy from OHMS Collective, and spend real quality time with Ryan from Hearthstone and Max and Aixa from Myceliumatters. It felt less like networking and more like building real roots
And then there was Noiice Dyes. We found them by chance while wandering the vendor areas and instantly fell in love with their work. A few months later they became the supplier for our entire merch line. That’s the kind of full-circle stuff that makes these events unforgettable
It was exhausting, no question. But also one of our absolute favorite events we’ve ever been a part of. Three days of music, mushrooms, connection, and joy. We’d do it again in a heartbeat
