Fungi Fest Vol 2 August 13 2022
We were back in Long Beach just a month after the first one and this time it felt like the energy had grown. Still intimate but a little bigger, a little louder, and definitely more mushroom people in the building
Fungi Fest Vol 2 took place on August 13 2022 at Culture Shrooms Headquarters. Once again it was co-hosted by Culture Shrooms and Myceliumatters and they brought the same intention and community-first vibe that made the first one so special. Mushroom-infused food and drinks were flowing again, synth mushrooms music filled the space, and the whole day felt like a cozy portal into the mycoverse
The grow kit walkthrough made a return and it was such a good hands-on addition. People gathered around to learn and ask questions without it feeling like a classroom. The whole thing just felt accessible
Twisted Tree Nursery was vending again and this time we were surrounded by an even wider lineup of amazing folks
Smallhold was there spreading their mission of turning everyone into a Mushroom Person. They make mushrooms feel like a gateway food into sustainability and flavor. The way they talked about the fungi kingdom made even seasoned growers feel newly inspired
Hearthstone brought their high-grade kanna and their deep knowledge of nature’s original antidepressant. Their booth had this calming energy that invited people to slow down and learn something new
MushroomSuppliers.com showed up with solid cultivation tools and info that caught the attention of newer growers and longtime cultivators alike. Straight to the point and super helpful
Blue Myco was there too with their mushroom sterilizer setups. Their techy vibe balanced out the more earthy booths and gave people a glimpse into some of the equipment side of the space
Stem and Cap represented Culture Shrooms’ functional mushroom line and reminded everyone why this community is about both fun and function. Their products made people curious and excited about integrating mushrooms into daily life
And of course Magic Amor Mycology returned with all the magic and heart. She brings a sense of wonder and softness to every space she enters. From her whimsical piñatas to her intention-setting offerings, everything she touches is about cultivating love, connection, and elevated states of being
The day wrapped up the way Fungi Fest always should—with good conversations, quiet reflections, and the sense that we were all building something a little bigger than ourselves
Fungi Fest Vol 2 didn’t try to outdo the first one. It just added to it. More people. More presence. More mushrooms. And the beginning of a rhythm we’d keep growing into.
