PsyCon May 9–11 2024 Las Vegas NV

PsyCon 2024 was one for the books. From May 9–11, we set up in Las Vegas with our friends at Culture Shrooms and David Poplin, and were happily surprised when familiar faces from OHMS Collective and West Coast Gold Caps stopped by to show support. The energy on the expo floor was buzzing with about 50 vendors, and the lineup of speakers was nothing short of legendary.

NBA champion Lamar Odom, Gary Laderman, Amber Kerby, Stephan Kerby, Victoria Lauren, Cam Leids & David Poplin, Paul Karasik, and Zappy Zapolin all took the stage, delivering talks and panels that dug deep into the evolving world of psychedelics. Sessions covered everything from ketamine’s potential for healing, veterans’ trauma-informed microdosing, and the connection between psychedelics and religion, to 5-MeO-DMT journeys, leadership innovation, and even a mushroom cooking demo from Jaden Rae. The panel on Lamar Odom Reborn was a standout moment, offering an intimate look into the intersection of healing and personal transformation.

The event was filled with top-tier vendors and sponsors like PolkaDot, Psilosafe, Psychedelist, The Shava, the Nevada Coalition for Psychedelic Medicines, and Mexisoul Ayahuasca Retreats, making the show floor a constant stream of conversations and connections.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a Vegas event without a little extra sparkle. When we weren’t vending or attending sessions, we soaked in the atmosphere, bonded with new myco community friends, and enjoyed the unique mix of high energy and deep connection that only happens in a place like this. PsyCon reminded us why we love doing what we do — bringing together passionate people, groundbreaking ideas, and unforgettable moments all under one roof.
